Project GRANDD (Grandparents Raising And Nurturing Dependents with Disabilities) is the only caregiver program in Georgia solely focused on the provision of supportive services to grandparents raising grandchildren or other relative children with
developmental disabilities, chronic health conditions and learning and behavior disorders. Project GRANDD provides support groups, individual/family case management, training, education
and referrals to support stable, safe and loving families. All services are provided at no charge.
Services:

Support Groups - for children and adults, you are not alone! Groups meet regularly. Separate groups for adults, children aged 8-12 and teenagers. See sidebar to the right for more information. Registration is required.

Education and Training - to address emotional, educational, medical/developmental and legal needs as well as promotion of personal well-being and relationship building.

Individual & Family Case Management - addresses family needs including emotional, social, financial, educational, legal and healthcare concerns for grandparents and grandchildren.

Home Visits - providing assessment of family needs and individualized case plans.

Monthly Newsletters - provide useful information for grandfamilies including children with special needs.

Family Fun Day - Annual outing for participants.

Material Assistance - Limited assistance with food, clothing and other necessities may be available to registered program participants.
