ISDD is dedicated to promoting health equity among children living in

social and economic disadvantage with or at risk for disability.

Break the Cycle

is an annual, multidisciplinary research and training program which invites students and faculty from a variety of colleges and universities to develop projects that will Break the Cycle of disadvantage and disability and raise awareness of children's environmental health disparities.

Project GRANDD

is a community- based support program for grandparents in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area who are raising their grandchildren with disabilities, chronic illness, and behavior or learning difficulties.

Healthcare Without Walls:

A Medical Home for Homeless Children

is a comprehensive, community-based, service model which addresses the health care needs of children who have been homeless.

Healthcare Without Walls -

Veterans

is a comprehensive community-based, medical and mental health home model which addresses the health care needs of children whose mothers have served in the military, including those who are or have been homeless.
