Our Story
Innovative Solutions for Disadvantage & Disability (ISDD) was founded in 2004 by a group of Atlanta education and health professionals to accomplish the mission of creating healthier outcomes for vulnerable children and families. Over the years the agency has piloted a number of programs to address the issue which have been refined to a single focus on kinship families, which include some of the most disadvantaged children in our community, and focused on the mission of empowering, educating, and equipping kinship caregivers of disadvantaged children in Metro Atlanta.

ISDD has developed a strategic plan to guide program growth, strengthen resources and ensure long-term organizational success.
